HoloCozy Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the video game HoloCozy, its official website, and related services.

HoloCozy is developed by Ninth Games (“Ninth Games,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using HoloCozy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use HoloCozy.

1. License to Use HoloCozy

Subject to these Terms and the rules of the platform through which you obtained the game, Ninth Games grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use HoloCozy for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

You do not acquire ownership of HoloCozy, its software, content, or intellectual property.

2. Demo and Pre-release Versions

Demo, test, preview, and pre-release versions of HoloCozy may:

Contain incomplete or experimental features
Include bugs or compatibility issues
Differ from the final released version
Have features, content, or saved data changed or removed
Stop functioning after a specified period
Receive updates without prior notice

Availability of a feature in a Demo or pre-release build does not guarantee that the feature will appear in the final version.

3. Game Updates

We may update, modify, balance, replace, suspend, or discontinue game features when reasonably necessary for development, licensing, security, legal compliance, or service operation.

Updates may change gameplay values, supported content, compatibility, online functions, or saved data.

4. Google Calendar Integration

Google Calendar integration is optional.

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, you authorize HoloCozy to access and manage calendar information within the permissions displayed on Google’s authorization screen.

Depending on your actions, HoloCozy may:

Read your calendar list and calendar events
Display events in the in-game calendar
Create new calendar events
Update existing events
Delete events you select
Provide schedule notifications

You are responsible for reviewing event information before saving, modifying, or deleting it.

Ninth Games is not responsible for incorrect event information, missed notifications, synchronization delays, or changes caused by account permissions, network interruptions, third-party service availability, or user input.

You may disconnect Google Calendar at any time through the game settings or your Google Account.

5. Third-Party Services

HoloCozy may interact with third-party platforms or services, including Google, YouTube, Steam, Wix, and infrastructure providers.

Your use of those services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

We do not control and are not responsible for:

Third-party service interruptions
Changes to third-party APIs
External website content
Third-party account restrictions
Content removed or modified by third-party providers

6. Acceptable Use

You must not:

Use HoloCozy for unlawful purposes
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the game or its services
Interfere with or disrupt online infrastructure
Circumvent security, access controls, or technical restrictions
Use automated systems to overload game services
Extract or misuse authorization credentials
Redistribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit unauthorized copies
Misrepresent HoloCozy or Ninth Games
Use the game in a way that infringes the rights of another person or entity

This section does not limit rights granted by applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

HoloCozy’s original software, interface designs, systems, and original assets are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Hololive-related names, characters, artwork, music, trademarks, and other licensed materials belong to COVER Corporation or their respective rights holders. Their inclusion in HoloCozy does not transfer ownership to users.

Other third-party content remains the property of its respective owner and is used under the applicable license or authorization.

You may not separately extract, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit licensed game assets unless expressly permitted by the applicable rights holder.

8. Virtual Items and Game Currency

Virtual currency, points, furniture, decorations, characters, and other in-game content:

Have no cash value
Cannot be exchanged for real-world money
Do not represent legal currency or property
Are licensed for use only within HoloCozy
May be adjusted as part of game balancing or updates

Unless required by applicable law or the applicable platform’s refund rules, virtual items are not independently refundable or transferable.

9. User Content and External Links

If HoloCozy allows you to enter calendar text, notes, or other content, you remain responsible for that content.

Do not enter unlawful, infringing, or harmful information.

Links opened from HoloCozy may lead to third-party websites, including YouTube or Google Calendar. Ninth Games does not control the availability or content of those websites.

10. Availability and Notifications

We do not guarantee that HoloCozy, online services, livestream notifications, calendar synchronization, reminders, or external links will always be available, uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.

Calendar and livestream notifications are convenience features. They should not be used as the sole reminder system for emergencies, medical matters, legal deadlines, financial obligations, or other critical events.

11. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HoloCozy and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not make warranties regarding uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, accuracy of third-party information, or continued availability of external services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ninth Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

Use of or inability to use HoloCozy
Loss or alteration of save data
Missed notifications or calendar events
Third-party services or websites
Network, device, or platform failures

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to online features if reasonably necessary to:

Protect users or service infrastructure
Prevent fraud or abuse
Comply with legal or licensing obligations
Address a violation of these Terms

You may stop using HoloCozy at any time by uninstalling the game and disconnecting associated third-party services.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to HoloCozy, applicable laws, licensing requirements, or third-party services.

The updated Terms will be published with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

15. Governing Rules

These Terms are governed by applicable laws and mandatory consumer-protection rules in the jurisdiction relevant to the user and the service operator.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
